Need help? We've got you covered.

  • Does ChemFord support multi-object rendering?
Yes! ChemFord can support multiple object rendering from different image targets simultaneously. Interact with the objects independently, and when you're done - clear the scene and start again!
  • Do I need to keep the image targets open to maintain the AR experience?
No! The image targets are only required to render the object. After, the image target can be hidden. Re-pointing the device camera at the image will spawn additional copies of that 3-D object.
  • How do I generate the objects within ChemFord?
With extreme ease! Simply open any marker from our library (found under 'Marker' page in the top menu). Then, with the application open, point your device camera at the image to render the corresponding 3-D object.
  • How do I remove objects from the scene?
Simply press the "Clear" button in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
  • What interactions can I do with objects currently?
All objects have three common interactions available: rotation, translation (1-finger) and scaling (2-finger pinch). In addition, select objects also have specific functionality available.
  • I want to use the application but cannot see it on the Play Store or App Store?
ChemFord is currently available on 32-bit and 64-bit Android devices alongside all apple phones and tablets. ChemFord is not currently available on the Universal Windows Platform. If you have an android or apple device and experience problems, please don't hesitate to get in touch for assistance.
  • Where can I download ChemFord?
ChemFord is available from both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
  • How can I follow content update(s) for ChemFord?
Patch notes for releases can be found under the "News" page of this website.
  • I want an object that is not currently available within ChemFord. Can this be added?
Of course, I am always looking to create collaborative environments. Simply get in touch! Typical turnaround for rendering new objects is between 1-3 days.
